Welcome to your first year at Hampton Middle School. In middle school, our sixth grade is organized into two teams – the Blue and Gold. Each team has a core staff of five teachers and a school counselor who coordinates instructional activities and helps you to see the wholeness that exists in learning. This year you will be a member of the Blue Team!
You will notice many changes in the middle school. You will choose your own lunch table, walk from class to class on your own, and meet many new people from other Hampton elementary schools. With these added freedoms, you will also find greater responsibility. For example, you will have to work harder to keep your many subjects organized. You might also find the curriculum to be more rigorous and the homework more demanding.
We are committed to helping you succeed. We firmly believe that students receive the best education possible when we work together as a team –
